Heather Locklear 2.0 Sports Skele-toes 2.0

The LPPR showroom hosts up-and-comers like Ava Sambora who just landed a great part in Judd Apatow’s new flick This is Forty. Establishing relationships with the soon-to-break talent in Hollywood is critical to keeping clients in front of the cameras and in the news. LPPR bud Leven Rambin is a great example and a gas when she shows up. Leven just landed the lead in Curtis Hanson’s new effort Mavericks. Ava wears Fila Skele-Toes 2.0, Lyric culture, gadogado, and Gentle Fawn.

 

Taking One for Fila

LPPR’s Lee Everett comes out from behind the curtain to help out a client in need. High quality images and all types of content can be critical for rapid response when media comes a knockin’. In this case, Lee wears Fila’s fall BTS collection for the camera’s at EXTRA. Being able to give them what they need when they need it is half the battle. Lee often appears on camera in lieu of clients for the likes of EXTRA, The Doctors, and LA local shows like Good Day LA.

Gentle Fawn takes advantage of a photo shoot to beautifully express the vibe of the brand and its gorgeous fall collection in video. A visually stimulating environment with crew and model in makeup is an excellent opportunity to get creative for FB fans and others out there surfing for fashion.

Daryl Hannah gets Brave in DC

You never know when a PR opportunity will drop in your lap, so you have to keep your eyes open for the unexpected — like Daryl Hannah making national news wearing your client’s product. Good thing it’s a noble cause because Daryl was looking about as good as one can possibly look sporting a Brave Leather Maeron belt while being hauled away to the paddy wagon for protesting in front of the White House.

Brooke Gregson Jewelry

LPPR loves to help emerging brands, especially inspired designers with great promise and gorgeous stuff. American Ex-pat Brooke Gregson, who runs her exclusive jewelry line from her Notting Hill digs in London, ventures to LA on rare occasion. Being a big fan of her Brooke Gregson line of jewelry, we take the opportunity to spread the word and find choice stories for our StyleFile friends at Good Day LA. We also don’t mind that Brooke brings all of her stuff to LPPR for the shoot so we can take a closer look at the goods. Brooke sells her line at Persimmon in Hollywood and Fred Segal Santa Monica.

Gotta Love Andy Samberg in Fila

How much do we love product placement when Andy Samberg is in on it.  NYTimes Magazine gives a sneak peek of their hysterical spread about tennis rivalries featuring Andy Samberg posing as some of the greats of the sport in their most memorable moments.  For us, of course, he wears the Heritage Fila collection to memorialize Borg in Samberg’s interpretation of the historic moment. The players were great, and the clothes lock them in time.  One of our favorite showroom items are the Fila Heritage pieces that virtually everyone loves.  They are classic and fun and the real deal.  We always encourage clients to have a few pieces that “everyone” wants.  It makes our job fun and makes the LPPR showroom a must visit for entertainment trend setters. Product Placement that Counts

Product placement on TV can be pretty nebulous at best unless you pay dearly for it. It’s especially NG if you have a product that is obsolete when the show actually airs ala fashion brands. It can be worse for film. Give wardrobe something that they can really use and with a little luck your Fila Track Jacket and Supplex Pant are in a highly anticipated Lifetime Network original movie for elevenish minutes. That was the case with the recent airing of Deadly Sibling Rivalry starring Charisma Carpenter.
